The Church

We are a Church of England parish intent on ministry to the whole parish of Long Clawson. Beyond the parish boundary we work with the churches of Nether Broughton, Hose, Harby and Stathern in an informal group. Within the parish we work with the Baptist and Methodist churches and other Christians as Clawson Christians Together, particularly to welcome new villagers, and for joint outside worship at Remembrance, Christmas, and Holy Week processions.

For those who follow these things, we are part of the Deanery of Framland and the Diocese of Leicester, but find that the parish is the focus for most people wishing to engage with the church, so we have resisted the invitation to join a Minster Community.
